Grants that help states and tribes establish and maintain addiction and mental-health treatment systems aimed at children and youth are now available from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
SAMHSA has $5.3 million available for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Abuse State Infrastructure Grants, which focus on young people (and their families) with severe emotional disturbance, addictions, and co-occurring disorders. Grants of up to $750,000 will be awarded annually over five years.
Application deadline is June 3.
