This is not a dream, it is a passage from the Declaration of Independence.
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's G0D entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

I think I'm understanding this right....
So, Instead of starting a thread,
I will voice my self here...

My G0D is sufficient...but not necessary.

I do not see any reason why my beliefs
are necessary for the unbeliever to embrace,
in order to have sobriety....

My declaration is intended for the believer
If you believe in G0D, the Father of Christ,
He is sufficient, to where 12 steps are not necessary

Nor, do I see any reason why a person,
who is void of believing the existence
of any specific G0D, Supreme Being or Higher Power,
needs to create or connect with one,
in order to achieve sobriety.

In order to Declare your Independence from drugs,
what it boils down to is simply doing no.

Not to say it will be simple to just say no and apply it
but, if you are willing to have freedom from addiction,
then you must do, no matter how hard it is, what is necessary

When someone will state, saying no
is just not enough for some people,
what they are really saying is,
some people are not willing to do *no*
they are just willing to say *no*

As human beings we are quite capable
of putting forth the efforts to achieve our goals,
Recovery, or in other words, maintaining your sobriety,
and sobriety, or in other words, being drug free,
isn't any different nor should be anymore complicated.

You need to make up your mind and decide,
whether or not you want to be free from drugs,
then you need to just start doing *no*!

It is that simple!
