Gene-
Great pictures, you photography abilities shine through, very clear, very crisp pictures.
I can't explain the emotions I feel seeing the pictures though, mixed emotions, mixed feelings.

I am curious, how did the day affect your son? How did he feel from what he learned and saw today?

I can imagine that in New York the pride of America is probably the highest in the US, how incredible it must be to be there for Memorial Day tributes. How were the emotions of those there?

Thank you for taking the time to share these.

Lucy

My son saw a parade side of Memorial Day, after that I was trying to explain the real idea behind Memorial Day. I hope I succeed in explanation that beneath a happy face lies the day of remembering people, who dies. Something that look like as an adventurous game, could be a real tragic for a lot of people.

PS. In the future, I am planing to visit Plymouth MA on Thanksgiving Day to give my son a taste of anti-Thanksgiving Demonstration conduct by Native Americans. I want to teach him that any story has at least two faces.
