The U.S. commission which sets guidelines for prison terms votes unanimously to allow nearly 20,000 federal inmates, most of whom are black, to seek reductions in their crack cocaine sentences. The decision comes a day after the Supreme Court ruled that previous terms for crack offenses were too harsh.

Panel Allows Easing of Crack Sentences

Well, I for one, think this has been long overdue.
I have always felt crack/cocaine possession related prison sentencing,
was way over the top and totally unfair.

So, what do you think?
