Does anyone know where on the internet I can find information regarding specific sentencing guidelines for possession and/or distribution of crack and cocaine? I am particularly interested for the State of Michigan. Also, is possession of any amount an automatic felony? When do federal guidelines apply (also I am not sure exactly what those are as well)? Anyone know if you get pulled over with crack or cocaine on your person or in the car, will the car be simply impounded? I was told from an aquaintance that there is a chance the car may never be returned you at all (or to the person to whom the car is registered)? I am mostly trying to gain information for someone I am hoping to educate about this addiction and give her more reinforcement to quit enabling. Thanks!
