we all like to hope that loved ones or themselves will quit using substances in a hope to regain a more active and healthy lifestyle. this is Billy here to tell you that it's been a rough week as Bill has been in hospital after emergency surgery. through the suffering and pain that he has experienced he's finally decided he needs to take better care of himself in all aspects of his life. this is the thing tho, it wasn't the drug that put him there, no it was something a lot simpler and just plain "WEIRD". anyway he should be home sometime at the end of the week! I was just letting people who might have been curious as to where he was......by the way Lynn, Bill says that he misses you and would love to have a dorito he hasn't eatin anything in 7 dys. As for myself I would like to say hello and that everyone else here is doing just fine.........All the best to everyone ,,,Billy

i got released tuesday afternoon. there were no complications other than the fact my heart rate plummeted drastically during surgery and so was put in cardio recovery for a couple of days first. my recovery has been quite speedy actually. my health, given all i've put myself through these past years is quite good, still, and i intend to keep it that way. the very evening that the attack come on i had just purchased a new supply of speed, costing me 125 dollars. i may have had one line out of it. i gave it away the day i got released. i can say now that i've been clean off speed for 11 days now and have no desires to do any drugs again. my reasons for feeling so strongly on quitting has little to do with how i feel about my health or drug use itself, but more about the veiw i had from the hospital window of a snow covered mountain and the resolve of a 50 - 60ish years old korean womans to not have surgery and allow death to take her. because simply there was a lack of good communication. she has since agreed to surgery with a will to continue living. so easy, this life and death thing.

anyway, nice to be home. zeth, not quite ten months old took his first twelve steps on his own yesterday. i'll see him later today and try and get some pics posted. helen and the boys came over for a nice visit yesterday, we enjoyed a comfortable wood fire. billy was here as well. resting well and will fill you in more about the past week or too and what my plans are now.

Every second,
minute,
hour,
day,
week,
month,
and year,
is never promised us but, a gift.

Life is so short...any moment can be our last.
Life is so ironic...that last moment could be a twist of fate.

A long time addict might not die from their addiction.
A smoker might not die from cancer.
A person who sells their body might not die from Aids.
A gang banger might not die from a bullet.
An overweight person might not die from a heart attack.
A person trying drugs for the first time might keel over.
Someone who never smoked a day in their life might die from lung cancer.
A person whose only had sex once might die from Aids.
A honor roll student might die from a stray bullet.
Someone in good shape might have a heart attack while out jogging.

"...Thank you for blessing us with another day today,
and keeping our family, friends and loved ones safe.
Please continue to keep us safe and watch over,
those we love and care about, wherever they may be"

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for hearing and answering,
mine & Jacob's prayers.

In Jesus' Precious name, Thank you!
