	Swedish National Association for a Drug-free Society Description: RNS was founded in 1969 by Nils Bejerot, a psychiatrist specializing in drug abuse. The issues we want to look into especially are these: The down-sizing of treatment programs for drug-addicts, especially the compulsory programs, is a serious problem. The drug situation in our prisons is far from satisfactory The leakage of narcotic drugs from the legal medical market to the illegal market must be stopped. Schools must find better methods to identify drug abuse among their students and find ways to either do something within the school or report to the social authorities. We need a new law regulating illegal drugs and driving. It is more or less impossible today to get a person convicted for driving while entoxicated by illegal drugs. So called "magic mushrooms" can be sold legally in Sweden today. A new law regulating trade with "health-hazardous goods" will be taken shortly.
